Facts
Wellington is a village just west of West Palm Beach in Palm Beach County and 66 mi (106 km) north of Miami. It is part of the Miami metropolitan area and the fifth largest municipality in Palm Beach County by population. As of the 2020 census, the village had a population of 61,637 according to the U.S. Census Bureau, making it the most populous village in the state.
Winter Equestrian Festival
The epicenter of equestrian sport, Wellington International. This internationally recognized venue is located in Wellington, Florida and is home to the Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF) and ESP Annual Series.

Wellington Parks and Recreation offers something for all ages. Each weekend approximately 6,000 people visit our facilities and participate in our programs. Sports leagues, festivals, cultural events and community classes are all an important part of making Wellington "A Great Hometown."
